LeapFrog: Melody The Musical Turtle Review

We have been fans of Leapfrog for many, many years and recently we had the opportunity to check out Melody the Musical Turtle. Melody is a decent size toy that’s designed for ages two and up.  With music and memory games, it’s sure to delight the youngest of ages.72-dpi-jpg-19303_musicalturtle_pr01

Melody the Musical Turtle has up to the number 10 on her back and comes with 3 fast-action learning modes that can be played alone or with a parent or friend. When they opt to play in two-player mode, Melody is quickly passed back and forth between the players.72-dpi-jpg-19303_musicalturtle_lf01

Little ones can listen and look for numbers and colors in Learn & Play mode, racing to find as many as they can before the music ends. In Memory Games, children watch Melody’s buttons light up and see if they can repeat the patterns. The further they go in the game, the more advanced the patterns become.

When it comes to the music mode, your little ones will have 2 ways to play. They can either follow Melody’s lights to play 8 familiar tunes, and then improvise in Free Play.dsc_0575

This is such a fun toy. Our favorite game out of all is the memory game. It isn’t joking that it gets harder as you go. We always play it as a two player and it’s fun for all.

Melody the Musical Turtle can be purchased with a SRP of $19.99.
