Pip likes to play. Actually, he LOVES to play. Especially with his best friend, Nico. Pip has lots of ideas: they can play ball, play hopscotch, play explorers – the possibilities are endless. Nico likes to play too – his cello, that is.
Nico’s more interested in his cello than in Pip’s other games. if Pip could only get Nico to just…pay…ATTENTION! Pip is in the middle of a hilarious meltdown by the time Nico finally looks up from his instrument. And that’s when he realizes Pip is right about something – he comes up with the perfect way for them to play together.
Pip and Nico are full of expression and energy, and the dynamic between them is fresh and recognizable at the same time. Budding performers might also relate to Nico-who has much fun playing his cello that no other kinds of playing can compare!
