Winter in North Carolina was very mild this year, and in the South, Mild winters mean an abundance of bugs which start pretty early in the season. With that being said,  why not take learning outdoors with the with the Educational Insights GeoSafari Jr. Bug Vac ‘n’ View

My boys are on the search daily for new and interesting bugs to suck up. Not only are they learning more about each little critter that happens to land inside the viewing chamber on the Bug Vac ‘n’ View, but they are having fun too!

With the Bug Van ‘N’ View your little ones get an up-close, magnified view of some amazing insects without ever having to touch them. The gentle suction is perfect for drawing bugs into the clear collection container in the frog’s belly. To view the bug, you just simply remove the container and close the sliding door. Once you’ve examined your catch, you can either release it or keep it for awhile for a closer look. The build-in air holes will keep the insect safe.

Bug Van ‘N’ View comes with:
2 bug chambers with built-in 4x magnifier and air holes
Bug observation guide

Supports STEM: Collect, observe and study insects

All in all, this has been a wonderful product that both of my boys have enjoyed, and it’s one of the first things they grab as they head outside to play. Just in case they run across an insect they haven’t yet discovered.

The GeoSafari Jr. Bug Van ‘N’ View can be purchased at Educational Insights.
