Book Review: Jesus Helps Me

Publishing company Graham Blanchard, a Christian children’s publisher dedicated to helping parents teach their kids about God from the very start of life, is set to release the beautiful book, Jesus Helps Me. This book is part of their already popular Knowing My God Series.

Jesus Helps Me offers four levels of exploration:

• Quoted Bible passage (John 12:44-47)
• Supporting captions that relate the passage to a child’s life
• Thinking questions to personalize the experience and colorful
• Full page photographs.

Jesus Helps me also includes a tip section for parents on how to use the book with a baby, toddler, and child.

My five-year old loves this book. The pictures are absolutely breath-taking and the simplicity of the scripture and paragraph that accompanies it are perfect.  What surprised me the most, was that my eight-year old often picks this book up to read and enjoys the pictures.  Even though it’s a board book, it has appealed to both of my children, and a book that we highly recommend.
