Valentine’s Day has arrived, and that means it’s time for thse boys to have the little party they have waited for. One thing is sure, you can’t have a party without decorations, right? That’s why we decided to make these simple Valentine Mobile craft.

Who doesn’t love crafting? My boys sure do, especially when an activity leads us outdoors to find material. With this Valentine Mobile Craft, you not only get to have fun crafting, but enjoy the outdoors as well. We went on a short little nature hike to search for our sticks.
Supplies:
Glitter Hearts
High-temp Hot Glue Gun
Jute
Stick
Even though my boys love crafting. I know that any craft needs to be fast and fun. If a craft is over 30 minutes, chances are I’ll lose them. We all know what happens then, right? Mom (or dad) end up finishing the activity.
With this craft, the boys took the sticks that they gathered during our nature hike and tied the jute around it.
I’m not sure if you can tell on the first line of the mobile, but at first we started out hole punching the hearts and then tying them. Quickly, I realized that this was going to take too long and that’s when the hot glue gun came into play.
It worked best for us to hang the mobile up on a little hook. I put the hot glue on the back of the hearts and then the boys would place the hearts on the string. I did hold the string straight while they placed their hearts. This adorable and easy craft took us maybe 15 minutes max, which was the perfect length of time.
