What I first noticed about this product is how lightweight it is. Being that it was so lightweight I was not sure how much it could withstand. I put it to the test by adding a book to each of the eight pockets in addition to some other toys in the middle. I am pleased to announce that it held up beautifully! The side straps were very simple to work with. I really love the soft velour middle and the fact that small children can roam every inch of this mat without coming in contact with potentially dangerous materials such as small or sharp objects. It is 100% safe, something that every parent looks for and deserves. The best part about the Toy Nanny is it is machine washable. An asset to any item being used by children.
