I can easily seeing this book being an awesome gift for anyone since all it really takes is a mug and a microwave! The 5-Minute Mug Cakes brings nearly 100 delectable recipes for cakes, brownies, cookies and more! Every recipe can be made in an ordinary, microwave-safe mug in just a few minutes!

One of my favorites in the book is the Pumpkin Lite Cake that is approx. 190 calories.
Pumpkin Lite Cake

4 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp granulated sugar
2 1/2 tbsp fat-free milk
2 tbsp canned pumpkin puree
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1. Combine all ingredients in an oversized microwave-safe mug. Mix with a small whisk until batter is smooth.
2. Cook in microwave for about 1 minute. If cake is not done, head an additional 15 seconds. Let cake cool a few minutes. Cake is best consumed while still warm or within a few hours of it being cooked.
Every recipe in this book fast, simple and delicious and since it’s made in the mug you cook it in it saves up on clean up!
