With having two boys ages 5 and 9, it sometimes can be a challenge to find a devotional that we can read as a family.  Recently, our family has added, A Believe Devotional for Kids: Think, Act, Be like Jesus and so far both boys have really been enjoying it.  

This 90 day devotional is created for children ages 6-10 year old and can be read on its own or accompanied with the books in the Believe series, and the illustrations in this book are absolutely beautiful.

Each devotion takes 5 minutes or less to read, and is a great way to start out the day. Each devotion opens with a scripture, then goes on to ask a question that kids can relate to. Such as:

“Do you make sure to tell people thank you? Are you surprised when people do or don’t say thank you to you?

After this, then it leads into how it can be applied in their lives today. My boys and I start our day with this book and I love how they always answer those beginning questions. After that, it just seems to pull them in and I have their complete attention until the devotion has come to an end. Each devotion also closes with a prayer.

I highly recommend this book for family Bible time, or even Sunday School teachers.
