My kindergartner has been doing A is for Adam as part of his Bible curriculum. He looks forward to us learning from it daily and when we get to certain points, I’ll create little printables for him to help him learn even more.
A is for Adam is a multi-purpose family book designed to teach young learners Biblical truths. This resource can be a fun and educational way to help your children learn the timeline of history, beginning with Creation and ending with the new Heavens and new Earth. Children will love the bright illustrations and rhymes. Parents and educators will find short discussion points, memorization aids for core truths, and a “More Answers” section.
Each sequence of verses teaches the Gospel message to children, answering such questions as:
- How can we know we didn’t evolve from monkeys?
- What did sin do to the world?
- Why are there different languages?
- Why did Jesus have to die?
This is such an awesome teaching tool for little ones. I love that the book is free standing and while I read about it the littles can follow along and study the picture. This is a plus for them, because when I flip to the back for extended lesson learning I always get complaints because they aren’t able to see the picture anymore.
This is one of the first books we have done where they actually look forward to it daily, which makes for a very happy mom.
To go along with lesson 2, here is a FREE downloadable Adam & Eve Sorting Printable that we used.
A is for Adam can be purchased for $16.99.
