A few weeks ago I mentioned that I thought the time had come to finally start potty training our youngest son. He is 26 months old and although we had introduced him to the potty earlier it was always hit and miss and honestly he would flat out refuse to pull off his diaper and cried if I tried to put undies on him. Two weeks ago my husband told him that if he would “ditch the diapers” that he could go camping with him and his older brother. Apparently, that is all it took. My two year old took the diapers off that day and hasn’t had one back one since. He has done amazing well with the help of Pull-Ups for nap time and with us using the Pull-Ups app. He loved the songs. One song I had to always look up on youtube for him was the “Potty Dance” song. We would have to listen to that or the one that was on the app every time we went to go potty! He loved that he was able to give himself a star when done. All in all I think the potty app along with Pull-Ups helping prevent those nap time accidents made this smooth sailing for me!! I will get more into detail the next post that will be coming up very soon. For now I want to talk about the NYC Times Squares Promotion that Pull-Ups is holding!
Potty Training Celebration!!
On January 29, Pull-Ups is throwing a larger than life potty training celebration in Times Square to help parents and tots kick-off potty training the right way!! With a giant potty, live performers and a spectacular light-up billboard celebration, parents and little ones can experience the excitement first hand as they prepare to celebrate one of the biggest milestones in a child’s transition from a baby to a BIG KID!!
Pull-ups is also asking parents to share their little one’s FIRST FLUSH celebration moment for a chance to be featured on a Times Square Billboard during the First Flush celebration on January 29 and in the end be entered to win a trip to the most magical family getaway destination on Earth!! Can you guess where that might be?
