This is one product that I am super excited to bring to my readers. I have tossed around waiting to include it in my Holiday Gift Guide since I am sure this will be a HUGE hit for any Toy Story fan out there, but I am just too excited to wait.
Toy Story Space Toy
My four year old absolutely loves Toy Story. He was first introduced to it by watching his sister’s Toy Story and Toy Story 2 movies and was hooked instantly! I will be the first to admit that I love Toy Story as well!
Recently Mattel has launched the Toy Story Space Toy line. Since As They Grow Up is part of the “Mattel Insider” program we were some of the first ones to test out the Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Spaceship Command Center and the Space Figure Assortment! I have to say that so far I have been extremely impressed!!
First off the Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Spaceship Command Center is super cool! My son’s eye lit up the minute he opened the box! He has yet to put this toy down! Usually he only plays with toys for a little while and then the interest is gone, but not with this toy. I think his favorite part of this toy is that it has the voice PA Amplifier so that he can say “To infinity and beyond”. And when the Spaceship does the sounds like it is taking off, that’s when his spaceship goes soaring through the air!
The Toy Story Buzz Lightyear Spaceship Command Center is a fun, action-packed portable playset. Open up the spaceship’s doors to unveil a complete command center with four different play zones including a prison chamber, observation deck, and mission control launch center. And included space rover vehicle and the ship’s ability to be captained by a six-inch Buzz Lightyear figure give the set an extra play boost. Adding to the excitement is a voice PA amplifier so that kids can give commands and fire projectiles from the ships stealth side launchers. Lights and sounds complement the intergalactic fun! The Buzz Lightyear Space Command Center has a SRP of $49.99 and is recommended for ages 3 and up.
Next up is the Disney Toy Story Space Figures. We had the opportunity to test out Buzz Lightyear and Zurg. Both of these figures allow your little one to blast each other. This has provided hours of fun and I have already heard requests from my four year old to get him the rest of the collection! The Space Figure assortment includes some of the little ones favorite characters! The Buzz Lightyear and Wood each feature their own unique spacesuit, helmet and blaster. Rex looks ferocious in a helmet and spacesuit with claw-like hands and Zurg carries his own space cannon while Zurgbot includes two exxtra bots for backup. These cool figures have a SRP of $10.99 and are very much worth the price!
These products are fantastic and my kids have had a blast with them! Even my 10 month old loves talking (yelling) in the voice PA amplifier. It really is hours of fun and I am sure any little one would love waking up on Christmas morning to these!!
