Our family is very blessed to live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. While we love the gorgeous mountains that surround us, we also enjoy taking trips to the beach once or twice a year. It’s amazing how visiting can bring back the many memories we have made over the years. Our daughters are now young adults and our boys seem to be growing up way too quick.
All our kids adore heading to the beach as the weather starts to warm. There’s just something relaxing about hearing the wave rolling in, the seagulls overhead and being surrounded by the laughter of children as they try to run faster than the waves.
With our boys having such a love for the beach, I had a feeling they would love the board book, To The Sea. This book has arrived just in time for summer and lets children everywhere experience a day with one of God’s most awesome creations – even if they might never go there.
To The Sea is a board book that helps little ones feel like they are having their very own ocean-side experience. As children imagine the sights, sounds, feelings, and tastes evoked in the story, they can take part in one boy’s adventurous day there, with its surprises and rewards. “To The Sea” is a Praise book, which wonders at the miracles found in everyday life and praises the God who made them.
Graham Blanchard is the only publishing house that specializes in board books to help parents teach their children about God from infancy. To The Sea is the 11th title Graham Blanchard has released, including two gift sets. While I haven’t personally checked out all the titles, after reading To The Sea, I’m without a doubt positive that they are amazing!
About The Author:
To The Sea was authored by writer, educational content developer and company founder Callie Grant, who started Graham Blanchard after struggling to find engaging children’s books for her young daughter on who God is and how she can be in a personal relationship with him. Artist Jeremy Tugeau, who also illustrated Graham Blanchard’s popular All of Me that You Can’t See, provided the luminous oil paintings for the book. Tugeau drew from his own experiences growing up with family trips to the sea and now taking his own children there.
This beautifully written and illustrated book is worth purchasing. It’s such a great way to help your little ones understand the miracles that God has created. You can purchase it from retailers such as Amazon, Barnes & Nobles and from Graham Blanchard. The book has a SRV of $8.99.
