Spring is fast approaching in North Carolina, and it’s time to brighten up the wardrobe and head outdoors! Our family is big on the outdoors, so for me comfort is a big and I get that with prAna. That’s why when I was given the opportunity to review a few pieces I jumped at the chance.
Why prAna
prAna’s mission is to give people the option of reaching into their closet and dressing in items that reflect who they are. The versatile but classy clothing design makes for outfits that can be worn to work or on an adventure, which is perfect for this busy mom on the go.
You’ll also find that their clothes are made from organic cotton and hemp. prAna is very planet-friendly which is important to me. Not only do they use organic cotton and hemp, but you’ll also find that many of their clothes use recycled materials. How awesome is that?
For this review, I received the Cali Dress and a pair of pair of Chetan Capris, which I absolutely loved. They are both super soft and comfy, but that doesn’t surprise me at all.
For the Cali Dress I chose the color Charcoal Botanica. I know, I know…you’re probably wondering why I chose this color when they offer bold and bright colors, but no worries. I can assure that once putting this dress on, I’ll be getting more fun colors in this style.
This is a dress that can dress up or down and it offers a scoop neck and razor back. Not only do I love the empire waist, but I appreciate that interior shelf bra with removable modesty cups. I promise that once you slide into the dress, you aren’t going to want to take it off.
As far as fit, this dress fits very true to size. For the most part, I order a size medium in a dress and I couldn’t ask for a better fit.
Next up is the Chetan Capri. The minute I put these on I was in love! This is definitely a go-to capri in my opinion and the possibilities are endless.
These capri are made of organic cotton hemp stretch slub jersey blend and offer a natural odor reducing feature. I really appreciate that these are UPF 50+ and are so soft. I love that they these don’t ride up and they stay in place. 
They seem to be the perfect thickness for the upcoming spring season. These have already made it on a hike and a camping trip. I seriously could live in these.
