Guests can go from high touch to high tech this holiday season. Select stuffed animals sold in all Build-A-Bear Workshop stores and buildabear.com can be imported into the new Kinect for Xbox 360 game, “Kinectimals Now with Bears.” Each of the four bears includes a special “Kinectimals” hangtag featuring a Microsoft Tag that imports these furry friends right into the game when scanned with the Kinect for Xbox 360. With engaging activities including training, caring for and playing with their cubs and embarking on challenges across two mysterious islands, “Kinectimals Now with Bears,” invites kids of all ages to create lasting friendships with some of the world’s most exotic creatures and now their favorite Build-A-Bear Workshop furry friends. The stuffed animals from the Build-A-Bear Workshop Collection that will be Kinect enabled include:

My little guys visited Build-A-Bear Workshop last weekend and had a blast as usual. My four year old loves adding to his Build-A-Bear Workshop dog collection that he already had and was super excited that he was able to get his hands on the German Shepherd and baby. When we first arrived he knew he wanted it. When he got up to the slot for it there were no more to be found. So as he was going up the aisle again he found one. Someone had placed it with another bear. He was super excited!!
He treats all his animals as if they are real and really gets into the bathing. Even when he got the German Shepherd puppy he had to take it over and give it a bath as well. Now the fun part to me is picking out the clothes, but usually he insists that dogs do not wear clothes. His bears get clothes, but not the dogs. However, we were in luck as they were having a sale. You could get a pet and an outfit for $25. I thought this was awesome since he always has to walk away with accessories as well! We all know at pet has to have a smart phone at all times 🙂 He picked out a Harley Davidson outfit for his new addition as well as a smart phone and an additional water dish for him. Davis also decided to get his little brother a Charlie Brown Character while there.
We had fantastic service and everyone was very nice! I have my eye on a few pieces (accessories) for stocking stuffers along with a few more products. Speaking of Stocking Stuffers, remember to visit Build-A-Bear Workshop and pick up a gift card for your little one! This is one store that my kids love going into!!
