CamelBak Water Bottle Review

My kids are always on the go and sometimes it can be hard to keep them hydrated!  While there are tons of different water bottles on the market, my son is extremely picky about what he drinks out of.  It is safe to say we have been through tons of different ones.  It may be that I don’t like how they spill or he doesn’t like how it comes out of the bottle.  Being that I hate feeling like I am just tossing money out the window, I will excited when we finally found the perfect bottle.

I recently had two CamelBak Water Bottles show up at my door.  What a wonderful surprise and a wonderful product.  Ok, I will admit that it took me a second to explain to my son how to get the water to come out once we started using it.  You have to bite the spout just a tad to release the water.  I think this is a fantastic idea as it really does prevent spilling.  I am sure you have read about our last minute trip we recently took.  Well these water bottles traveled with us and were a life saver.

Little Man’s is the Tritan that you see pictured above.  It is plastic, but also BPA-Free which is very important!  He takes this with him everywhere, especially gymnastics.  It is so easy for him to hold and carry and as I said it DOES NOT spill.

Angelica has the Stainless Steel CamelBak Water Bottle and it works just as well.  Actually to be honest, it works even better if you can believe that!  What I love about her bottle over Davis’ is that I can put ice water in both bottles and her’s will still have ice in it way after Davis’ has melted.  So this is a nice feature that has been added.  I have a different brand stainless steel bottle and this CamelBak one surpasses it in performance!

I know alot of people question Stainless Steel as well as plastic.  I wanted

to touch on that for just a second regarding the CamelBak Stainless Steel Water Bottles.   This is from a statement released from CamelBack.

CamelBak’s stainless steel bottles are BPA-free, and are clearly marked as such on the bottle packaging. For plastic water bottle fans, CamelBak was first-to-market with a BPA-free hard plastic bottle in January 2008.

To be very clear about what we mean when we say “BPA-Free” – it means there is no BPA in our materials, and thus no BPA in the liquids that people drink from our bottles. We back this claim with continuous testing of our materials conducted by an internationally-recognized independent lab.

When we decided to make metal bottles in kid and adult sizes, we purposely chose to use medical-grade stainless steel because it does not require a liner. Aluminum water bottle liners have been a topic of concern in the industry for many years. The added benefits of stainless steel are that it’s dent-resistant, stain-resistant and taste-free.

I would highly recommend CamelBack Water Bottles for adults and children.  I personally have not tried the ones for adults, however, my husband’s friend has one and absolutely loves it!  All the features that the child’s bottle offers, the adults offers the same!

This is solely the opinion of As They Grow Up. Other people may have different experiences with the product.Thank you to CamelBak for providing a product to test.
