If you were to ask me what the recipe for perfect sleep was I would have to answer with; cool fresh air, essential lavender oil and soft, tight, clean sheets. There is no doubt that here in North Carolina fall is definitely in the air. This is my favorite time of year for many reason. The biggest reason is the cool crisp air that we can bring inside with open windows. While some may think it sounds silly or even scary, I sleep the best when the windows are open. In addition to fresh air, I love clean sheets tucked in tightly. I am the type of person to hang onto a pair of sheets for years because I simply hate that new sheet stiffness. Do you know what I am talking about? It is not comfortable. Anyways, I recently found a set of sheets that are by far my favorite thanks to Cariloha.

I don’t know if I have been living under a rock or not but I never knew so much stuff could be made out of bamboo, from building material to food. Bamboo is green not only in color but in practice as well. It is known to grow up to 4ft each day, saves more trees and is one of the most eco-friendliest resources on the planet. Finally, the most intriguing fact to me is bamboo is clean. It is both hypoallergenic and naturally antibacterial.
Cariloha was very generous in letting me choose some products to review. As I mentioned before, I am always reluctant to try out new sheets but decided to take the plunge after reading so many great things about bamboo. I opted for a set of queen size sheets and received them in white. The natural fibers of Cariloha’s Bamboo Bed Sheet Sets are woven into a silky-soft fabric that are softer than 1,000 thread count Egyptian Cotton! As soon as they arrived I felt them and knew right then and there they would be the answer. They were soft in the package rather than stiff. I did wash them prior to putting them on the bed and was pleased with how they washed and dried. I also put a few drops of essential lavender oil on our mattress before putting them on the bed. I have slept great ever since and so has my husband so it is a double success!
Cariloha also sent me a lovely bath towel in Blue Lagoon. Like the sheets, the towel situation in my house is a whole other story. Let me just say, this towel is truly amazing and provides a since of luxury during each use. They are extremely soft but not the type of soft that you are still dripping wet after trying to dry off for ten minutes. It dries nicely and is antibacterial which is perfect for curbing the hubby who thinks he needs a new towel each and every time he showers.
The couple of items I have been gracious enough to try from Cariloha have exceeded my expectations. I am confident that after giving them a try they will exceed yours as well. In addition to home goods, I am excited to learn more about their clothing and in-particular their fitness wear.
