As I mentioned the other day on my site, we headed out to Williamsburg, VA yesterday on behalf of Country Inn & Suites. We arrived yesterday at Country Inn & Suites Virginia about an hour after check-in started (4:00pm). It was a long day for us as I am sure everyone knows that traveling with kids requires several stops along with way. Be it for food or potty breaks, we stop more now than we ever did in the past.
Check-in went smooth, and eventhough there were just a few cookies left when we arrived, Davis did enjoy a sugar cookie. They were super moist and delicious! When we got to our room, we all unpacked and just relaxed for just a little while. It was nice to be able to have a fridge, because my son is a huge milk drinker and I was worried about having some place to put that.
Here is a video of when we first walked into the room:
After we had a chance to unwind, we headed out to the Food For Thought Resturant. It was voted Best New Resturant in Williamsburg. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere was very releaxing.
After we finished our meal, we stopped by Bloom Grocery store and got Milk for our room and M&M’s for a dessert. When we arrived back to the room, we all got ready and took the kids to the indoor pool to swim. Once the kids were finished swimming we changed clothes and Ryan and I went to grab a cup of free coffee and Davis a cup of warm tea (also free) and we set out on the front porch for awhile.
Off to bed after that. We had to get rested for the next day! Now that I have finished telling you all about our adventures yesterday. I am going to try out the free breakfast! The smell has been coming in the room all morning and it smells delicious!
