Halloween is almost here and the party planning/prepping is happening now! This year we decided to mix things up a tad and add Sour Jacks into some of our Halloween goodies and the boys are looking forward to helping.
I know you have ran across the Rice Crispy Treat pumpkins with the chocolate stem. Problem is, my boys aren’t crazy about that type of candy. The lemon sour jack wedges will be making a perfect substitution for the stem.
We also did a trial run with using Sour Jack cookies. We used our favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe and switched out the chocolate chips for Sour Jacks. I chopped the lemon Sour Jacks up really small and mixed them into the batter and when the cookies came out, I topped them with other Sour Jack flavors. They received a thumbs up from the kiddos, so these will make an appearance at the party for sure.
If you’re planning a Halloween party for adults or kids, it never hurts to get a little creative. Never know what you might come up with!!
