Candles like jewelry are two things a girl can never have too much of! I have a cabinet full of candles but am always finding myself buying more. If it smells nice and it is a good price then you bet I am throwing it in my shopping cart to purchase. I have candles that have crisp fall scents, warm winter scents and fresh summer scents. Although there is not a particular brand of candles that I prefer over others, I have officially found what I like to call the neatest candle company ever! This company is called Diamond Candles.
Diamond Candles
Diamond Candles are earth friendly, all natural soy candles that are made directly here in the United States. Diamond Candles come in a slue of different scents such as Rosewood, Carnival Candy, Apple Spice and Cozy Cabin just to name a few. All their candles are right under three pounds and measure 3.5 inches in diameter and about 6 1/2 inches tall. The most exciting part about Diamond Candles is there is a ring in EVERY single candle. The rings range in value from $10, $100, $1,000 and $5,000! Each ring is wrapped up and placed down in the candle so you never know what you will get until the candle has burned down some and you unwrap the ring.
For this review I received two awesome candles. The first one was Tropical Retreat and the second was Pomegranate Lemonade. They both smell wonderful but if I had to choose just one I would choose the Tropical Retreat. My husband is not the type of person to gripe about my large candle collection. In fact, he often lights them himself and comments on how nice they smell. However, I have never seen him be so excited to light a candle and actually watch it burn like he was with the Diamond Candles! When I told him that each candle contained a ring he just couldn’t fathom it and diligently watched the candle burn and even put first dibs on unwrapping the prize. Diamond Candles definitely turns the boring act of burning a candle into a fun and exciting event that is full of anticipation.
I have not burned the Pomegrante Lemonade candle down far enough to get the ring but I did for the Tropical Retreat. I believe I got one of the $10 rings and it was a huge hit with my little girl. She put it on and really thought she was something else. Nontheless, it was a lot of fun and a totally neat added extra. Diamond Candles really goes above and beyond in setting themselves apart from the average candle company! Here is a picture of the ring I got: (I apologize for the blurriness.
