I am sure that everyone has heard about the Disney’s recent animated release, Planes. We took our boys to check it out in 3D and they loved it, which didn’t surprise me much at all since I have two little CARS fans in
my house.

This animated action-packed comedic adventure starts Dusty, a big-hearted, fast-flying crop duster who dreams of competing in the most exhilarating around-the-world air race in history. There’s only a couple of not-so-small problems. Dusty isn’t exactly built for racing and he also happens to be afraid of heights!
Despite his fear with encouragement from his mentor, a naval aviator named Skipper, Dusty narrowly qualifies for the big competition. Dusty’s sportsmanship and speed begin to rattle the defending champ of the race circuit, Ripslinger, who will stop at nothing to see Dusty fail. When disaster strikes during the climax of the final race, Dusty’s courage is put to the ultimate test. With the support of friends old and new, Dusty reaches heights he never dreamed.
The minute we walked out of the movie theater my boys were begging for a Planes toy. They loved the Dusty character. When they found out that they were going to be reviewing the Pilot Pals Dusty Cropphopper R/C Plane their little faces lit up.

With the Mattel’s Disney PLANES Pilot Pals Dusty Cropphopper Remote Control Plane, your little one can have high-flying fun recreating the action seen in Disney’s Planes with this RC vehicle that offers role-play remote control, which means the plane moves when they do! It is the funniest thing watching my boys play with this toy and I have been pleasantly surprised at just how well they share this. In fact, it appears that my three-year-old has the most fun running from Dusty Cropphopper and my six years old has more fun controlling Dusty and having him chase his brother.
To get Dusty Cropphopper is actually very simple. You simply push the button to set its propeller spinning and move it forward, then use the two controllers-one for each wing-to tilt the wings and control its movement through mimicry. Sounds and phrases amp up the action for a thrilling air-venture!
I love that this toy keeps the kids moving in order for them to have fun. It’s such an awesome way for them to get exercise in and have fun at the same time. Even our dog likes to chase around Dusty Cropphopper.
