In our family, not only will be celebrating Easter this coming weekend, but also celebrating my little guy’s 8th birthday.  Along with finding healthier snack alternatives for their Easter Baskets I have also been keeping my eye our for party favors that would also carry the Easter theme, and the new Carrot Snacks from Pirate’s Booty fits the bill!

Like all the Pirate’s Booty, this one sales with non-GMO and packed with Vitamin A, and made with sea salt!

Carrot Snacks

My boys just recently had the opportunity to try out these and they were really good!  The Pirate’s Booty Carrot Snacks are backed carrot and corn puffs and yes, you can taste the carrot in it.  Like all Pirate’s Booty, these snacks are non-GMO and made without artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.  Also, they are gluten free!

The color of the Pirate’s Booty Carrot snacks helped to create little “carrot” treat bags to go along with the upcoming party celebration this weekend and allowed me to keep with the Easter theme.  No, these aren’t bright orange in color since Pirate’s Booty doesn’t use artificial colors.

Here is my soon to be eight year old showing you how to make the Easter treat bag using Pirate’s Booty

To make the “carrot” treat bags, we used Wilton piping bags (cone shaped treat bags will also work too), string, and Pirate’s Booty.  I love doing little activities that the kids can help with and this was one of them.  I did have to help my four year old tie the bags up, and I’m pretty sure he ate more than he ended up putting in..but that’s ok.  All that matters is they had fun and the end result was a cute little craft.

The new Pirate’s Booty Carrot snacks have a SRP of $3.19.
