Over the last few years I’ve gotten into coffee. There is something about that warm mug in your hand on a cold wet day or as the first pick me up in the morning. While coffee is a new treat for me it seems like everyone I know is obsessed with it! When I had the opportunity to try Dr. Drip Coffee I was intrigued! The idea of brewing a single cup of coffee on top of a mug is just neat! The fact that the beans are high quality is a plus! The first thing I noticed was when I opened the filter pack. The grounds smelled heavenly! I could have just sniffed them alone and forgotten about the cup of coffee!
To brew the cup you open the packet and then tear the top off (so you have a fresh packet of coffee grounds.) Then you carefully put it on top of your mug. I found that it didn’t fit on my giant mugs but did well on a smaller rimmed one. You then pour water in to cover the grounds. It slowly steeps in for 30 or so seconds. After that you add additional water to create your full mug. I think this was a neat process and the cup of coffee was tasty! I totally think my parents would love to try it since they are ‘all about the coffee’. So I plan on gifting some to them this year.
