Elementary General Science: Water & Weather

Weather & Water from Master Books is what I call an investigative science book and is designed for students 3rd-6th grade. Throughout this study, your student will engage, investigate, explain, apply, expand and assess what they are learning. They will learn about:

• The creation of fossils
• Evaporation and the water cycle
• God’s system of purifying water
• Weather instruments and more!

It shows them the connection between biblical history and the world experienced outside their door where natural processes like rain and wind shape the environment each day.weather2

To go along with the Water & Weather Student Book, we have also been using the teacher guide.  This is a wonderful guide that provides the teacher will an easy to use format for home or classroom instruction. I can easily see using this in a co-op setting with as much ease as using it at home.weather

This 47 page book provides:
• Objectives and teaching aids to guide learning
• Additional resources to expand the educational experience
• Material is perfect for homeschool and Christian school use
• Water and weather and their effect on our world from God’s perspective!

While the teacher guide isn’t necessarily needed in order to teach course, it’s something that I would highly recommend. I feel that personally it helped me to add even more to the lessons that we were doing.
