I’m beyond excited to include the Zondervan Kids Faith Builders Bible as part of our 25 days of Book. As a mom of two boys that both love building, this Bible is perfect!
My boys have several Bibles, but this one is hands-down their favorite and I can see why. It has a brick look that encourages kids to pick it up, and it also offers several Bible stories throughout that have these awesome colorful brick pictures such as Noah, Solomon, the Ten Commandments and so much more! It also includes Brick Building Bible Verses and Dictionary to the new International Reader’s Version.
The pictures in the Bible are mainly found in the Bible Stories, which is fine with my boys. The pages offer a very clean look and they aren’t extremely thin which is a good thing. I always worry about pages getting torn easily when they are too thin, but I don’t see that happening in the Faith Builders Bible.
Recreating a Bible Story
I for one am a huge fan of the NIRV version for kids. I just feel it’s so much easier for them to understand and since we started using this version along with my KJV for Bible studies, I have noticed it keeps him more focused because he is understanding the words more.
