Imaginext is a name that is well known in our house. My son absolutely adores every Imaginext item he has. His collection actually kicked off with the Imaginext Pirate Ship last Christmas and hasn’t stopped growing since!
I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to work with Fisher Price and review this amazing Imaginext Dragon World Fortress Castle for my holiday gift guide. This castle literally has it all, and how many times have you had a shipment arrive at your door growling at you? Well I can say that when we received this product was the first time I have had one growl back at me. I am sure the UPS driver was wondering what in the world was in this huge box that was growling.
It arrived packaged wonderfully though and we immediately had to get this out for play. It wasn’t bad removing it from the box and once it was removed, the imagination kicked into high gear. My son couldn’t walk away from this particular set for a good two hours once play began.
The pieces are perfectly sized for little hands. What I love most about Imaginext and even this product is it allows them to use their imagination and creativity. This castle has many cool features. Once you put your figures in certain areas, then the castle comes to life. With the simple flip of a lever the dragon that protects your castle will grab for any intruder that may try to make it past the gates, but this isn’t all that goes! The thunder and lightening really bring this pieces to life as well as the fortress gate that opens and closes, you have a cannon to fire and even secret stairs! The Imaginext Dragon World Fortress Castle comes with:
