A. N. Kang (www.annakangdesign.com) was born in a little town in South Korea, with endless rice fields around her house. She grew up entertaining herself with picture books, and drew constantly. After moving to the United States as a teenager, she graduated from art school and began to design jewelry, greeting cards, and holiday installations all over New York City. She now lives and works in New Jersey with her sassy cat, Papillon. This is Kang’s debut.
My Thoughts:
If you love reading books that have an adorably, fluffy kitty as the star, then you are sure to love The Very Fluffy Kitty Papillon. Papillon might look plump, but really he is just a big ball of fluff. He is feather light and might float away if his owner, Miss Tilly didn’t dress him up in costumes to help weigh him down.
One day, Papillon decided that he didn’t want to wear his costume and takes it off. Soon, he finds himself floating away while following a little bird. Will Papillon find his way back home?
