Room on the Broom
As Halloween is quickly approaching, my two-year old’s favorite movie has been pulled from the Shelf. He adores the movie Room On The Broom, which he often refers to it as “With on the Broom”. This is an awesome movie which is the perfect length for keeping his attention, but why not add to this just a tad.
Did you know that “Room on the Broom” hardcover book is a huge hit with kids as well! It’s recommended ages are 4 to 8, but at least once a day my soon to be three years old brings me this book to read. It’s a cute story about a Kinda witch and her cat that fly happily over forests, rivers, and mountains on their broomstick until a stormy wind blows away the witch’s hat, bow, and wand. They are retrieved by a dog, a bird, and a frog, and each animal asks for a ride on the broom. They climb on, one after the next until the broom is so heavy that it snaps in two! What will happen next as they tumble into a bog and meet a not so nice dragon?

Not only is there a movie to now go with this amazing book, but there are also plush characters as well that my two year old has been asking for. I may have to surprise him with those one day since he is such a fan of the book and the movie!
All in all this is an wonderful collection that shows how important friends and family are. With them all working together they were able to overcome an obstacle and with that the witch rewarded all her friends. If you are looking for a fun book, movies or even plush to get your kids geared up for Halloween I highly recommend “Room on the Broom”. You seriously can’t go wrong with this collection!
