Great Starts with PouchPop! #WIN

*I received a product to help facilitate this review.*

When my son was about 8 months we started introducing those little pouches of baby food.  They are super convenient to pop into the diaper bag and handy for a quick feeding.  In fact my 2 year old still loves them and it is one of the only ways I get vegetables in him nowadays! While I didn’t have PouchPop when I was starting out I can see how this would have made the transition  to food so much easier!

About PouchPop:

The PouchPopTM allows for a natural transition from bottle to food, teaches self-feeding and best of all it takes the “ouch out of the pouch”! Created by a father of three after observing his youngest son struggle with the standard baby food pouch straw, the PouchPop provides a more soothing and less messy feeding solution.  The PouchPop is made with safe hospital grade silicone and is naturally BPA free. The convenient, universal fit is easy to use and reuse.

My Thoughts:

There are a few things I love about this product!  First off it is made of the same material as those hospital pacifiers which will make the transition from bottle/breast/pacifier to a pouch very smooth. Those pouches are hard plastic which my kid rejected at first.  This would have helped by being similar to his pacifier.   Babies will be naturally inclined to ‘suck’ on PouchPop.  Another thing is that those pouches can be a little rough around the top edges and PouchPop really helps keep things smooth and comfortable for baby.  Last BPA & Phthalate free is a good thing!  Jace who is 2 is very familiar with those little pouch foods.  He had no problem maneuvering PouchPop and ate his pouch with no issues.
