As March is coming to an end, it’s time to share our monthly homeschool favorites. While we use a lot of different products in our homeschool in any given month, I really try to narrow down to our top three favorites.

For this month, I haven’t included any books, but stay tuned!! We have some amazing reads that we’ve been pulling and are looking forward to sharing those with you in a separate post.

Be sure to check out the below video for more information on our favorites, and seeing them in action.

In no particular order, our March homeschool favorites are:

Learning Resources Tumble Trax:

Tumble Trax is a great way to get the critical thinking skills rolling. You can create your own marble run with long, short, and even curved magnetic pieces-then, drop the marble from the highest point to see your design come to life. While this sounds easy, the angles and spacing of your pieces will determine if it trax works. If the ball falls off, then you have to take a step back and figure what went wrong. Need more of a challenge? No worries at all. This set includes 10 building designs activity cards. There are endless combinations with this set.

While this set originally was meant for my six-year old, my nine-year old has this out daily creating crazy designs, racing marbles and so much more!

Learning Resources Magnetic Healthy Foods:

While the Magnetic Healthy Foods originally was suppose to go towards our healthy class as a way to introduce my youngest to the concept of the 5 food groups and healthy meal planning it quickly became an every day favorite in our house. My six year old uses it to play restaurant, learn about different foods and so much more. We’ve even used the set with our nine-year old during his language arts class to show how to build a preposition. The possibilities are endless with this set.

Learning Resources Time Tracker

Those of you that may follow us on YouTube are familiar with the struggles that I face when it comes to my oldest. He has a hard time staying focused when it comes to tasks, and this time tracker has been amazing. We can set it for as little as a couple seconds, all the way to 24 hours. We can pick how long we want it to stay green, yellow and even red. We use this for classroom work, clean-up time and even brushing teeth time.  It’s one of our favorite and most used products for sure.
