Summer time is such a wonderful time to get together with family and friends to cook-out and afterwards gather around the fire to enjoy a tasty snack.honeybunches

Recently it was brought to my attention that Honey Bunches of Oats has a wonderful line-up of recipes to help put a new twist on some of the old favorites, as well as a few fresh ideas. Some of the recipes include:

  • Crab Cakes with Sriracha-Lime Mayo
  • Sweet and Savory Mango Spears
  • Friend Ice Cream with Cinnamon-Chocolate Sauce
  • Crunch Sweet Potato Fries with Harissa Ailoi

While looking for a treat that would be equally as good, I discovered the Chewy Nut Mix recipe.  I knew that this would be the one for them to enjoy. It included some of their favorites like peanut butter, marshmallows and popcorn

These were super easy to make and taste amazing! Once they dried, I just broke it into the pieces and placed in an air tight container. You can roll these into little balls as an extra cute touch. They do taste similar to a popcorn ball, only not as hard and crunchy.
