I recently just wrapped up reading Jilted. This is the third installment to the Mended Hearts Series by author, Varina Denman. This was a fantastic conclusion to the Mended Hearts series, but being a fan I admit that it was a little sad to say goodbye to these characters.

Overall thoughts:
As I mentioned, I have been a fan of the series, but no worries if you haven’t read the previous two books. The author does a wonderful job as far as setting up the story, so you can enjoy Jilted without having read the previous two books.
In Jilted, you’ll learn the story of Lynda Turner and what has happened over the years in Trapp, Texas. The characters are genuine and the story is beautiful. This book and the rest of the series is a wonderful addition to your summer reading collection.
