I love to write. I have poetry books and diaries from when I was a teenager. Now I prefer to call it journaling – it just seems more classy! One of the things we’ve done in homeschooling is have the kids journal. Right now I have them writing 30 days of what they are thankful for. My Thoughts:
We received a Kid Stuff My First Journal from the Kraft Collection for this review. The cover features a cut out with a cute graphic but you can totally personalize using their “Personalize It” service! The journal pages have prompts that are perfect for encouraging your little writer to fill the pages with their thoughts. What I did today, What I learned, I am thankful for… are just three of the six questions. On the companion page there is a place to draw a picture. I just love that side! My 11 year old loves to draw pictures that reflect his day. He is going to love filling this journal up with his thoughts and drawings. I wanted to include this in our holiday gift guide because it is a thoughtful gift for a child but I think it is a important gift. You will be giving them the gift of writing! This will be a book they can look back and cherish their memories!
