Do You Keep Chapstick In Your Backpack?

Fall has arrived.  Leaves changing colors, cool mornings, apples, pumpkins and chapped lips.  Wait! What? Did I just use the words chapped lips while talking about how amazing fall is?  While this might sound crazy, it really is that time of year.  chapstick As most of my readers already know, we do homeschool. Having said that, we still do a lot of traditional things when it comes to our school year. We shop for backpacks, back-to-school supplies and even school clothes. Now some of you may  be thinking why backpacks if you homeschool?  We use backpacks for when we want to do schooling on the go. It’s so much easier to grab up the backpack and head out the door, since I always keep it packed with not only school essentials but also items such as Chapstick®. As I mention, this time of year is pretty rough on lips and the Chapstick® fits perfectly in the side compartment of their packs.dsc_0006

Do You Keep Chapstick In Your Backpack?

The reason I always make sure to keep Chapstick® in their backpacks along with other essentials is pretty simply. When my boys are outdoors running around (especially as the days get cooler) their lips can get chapped very quick. Anyone that’s ever had chapped lips knows just how uncomfortable that can be. My boys like to pick out their own Chapstick®, but we are loving the new designs on the tubes. They definitely have their favorites out of the flavors that we received (Classic Cherry, Classic Original, Moisturizer Original). While they refuse to carry the cherry because it is in a pink tube, they will use it at home I’m convinced it’s one of their favorites). In their backpacks they have the classic original and the moisturizer original.
