My Thoughts:

I have always loved finding sand dollars while walking along the beach, but it seems that they are getting harder and harder to find on the beaches near us. When given the opportunity to review this beautifully illustrated book, I just couldn’t pass it up.  I have told my boys the story of the sand dollar in the past, but this book made the story come to life.

If you aren’t already familiar with the story of the sand dollar, or you are looking for a way to share the legend with your children, this book is a must. It very clearly and beautifully tells the story of Easter, all while also informing the children of Jesus’ work on the cross. Both of my boys really enjoy this book, definitely a favorite Easter book in our home.
