Over the course of the year my husband and I have really cut down on the amount of coffee that we were
drinking. The end result of that was that we seemed to be throwing out more coffee than we were drinking and that is such a waste. Not to mention that our six year old is very independent and enjoys a nice cup of hot cocoa or tea every once in awhile and loves being about to do it himself.
Recently our family had the opportunity to test out the Tassimo T55 Brewer and LOVE it. First off I have to say that I love the size. It takes up much less room than our traditional coffee brewing system we were using which is awesome and it’s very user friendly! My six year old watched me use it just one time and after that has been able to use it no problem.

My six year old loves the Peppermint Hot Chocolate and I have to admit that when it comes to specialty drinks that I am rather fond of the Chai Tea Latte. Each premium brewer is built with Intellibrew barcode technology which reads and adjusts each preparation to the perfect amount of water, brewing time and temperature for an impeccable beverage every time! Also I love the slide-control cup stand for added stability and it easily removes should I need to put my travel mug under it for an on the drink option. Also with difference preferences on the strength of coffee, you have the mild/strong pre-setting that lets you add more water or reduce the water for the strength that is perfect for your individual taste.
The Tassimo Home Brewing System works exclusively with Tassimo T Discs and each T Disc contains an expertly-measured portion of coffee, hot chocolate, tea or shelf-stable milk creamer. Once you insert your T Disc into the brewer it reads the barcode and knows exactly the optimum temperature, beverage size and brewing time.

What we thought:
Our family has loved using the Tassimo T55. It’s like having several different types of brewing systems all compiled into one compact size that delivers a perfect cup every time. We have had an espresso make, tea brewers, coffee pots, etc and none delivered a perfect cup with ease like the Tassimo T55 does. Not to mention having all those different machines takes up tons of kitchen counter space and storage, the one thing that I don’t have extra room for. My husband enjoys the bold coffee options and the Espresso while I go for the bolder coffee and teas. This is something that is used by our entire family at least a few times a day for a morning cup of coffee, a warm mid-day hot cocoa and of course my Chai Tea Latte for dessert in the evenings.
This is also a perfect machine when entertaining. As I mentioned earlier, not everyone prefers the same strength when it comes to coffee so to be able to offer such a wide variety of choices for your guests is a HUGE hit and it only takes a minute to brew!
