The package of Super Bright Rim Lights are very easy to install and come with a 3 pack of green (2), blue (2), and colorful LED valve lights to let you customize how you want your colors to appear. Based on LED technology, the rim light will go through almost any terrain as well as rough handling. They are also 100% waterproof and rust resistant, so if you are riding in the rain or muddy areas, there is no need to worry at all.
These lights don’t have an on/off switch but they do come with a paper dot in the battery, you simply unscrew the bulb from the base, remove this paper dot and close it back up. After the paper has been removed, then you are good to go.
When I was trying to decide if this is a product that I wanted to test out, I read many mixed reviews and wasn’t exactly sure what to expect with these rim lights. Some reviewers said they didn’t work and some said they were a novelty. First off based on the price, you have to remember you aren’t getting a higher end ($200) rim light. Does it serve it’s purpose? yes! If your main goal is for vehicles to see you on your bike and you don’t want to spend a ton of money, then these do the trick. They are very bright and while they don’t look 100% like the stock picture shown at the top they can be seen. Would I use this as a stand alone lighting system for my bike? no. But as an addition to a tail light and head light it’s great! The only think that would be nice is to be able to turn them on and off instead of them being motion activated, but other than that..thumbs up from all three of us in our family that have tried them.
So basically if you are in the market for a rim lighting system for your bike and don’t want to spend a ton of money at first, then these would be a great option to consider.
