When it comes to gift-giving this time of year, the one thing that I love doing is building a gift basket filled with different things that I feel fit that person. It doesn’t have to be a big expensive basket, but filled with candies,
chocolate, cooking utensils, handmade scarf, etc. Lovely Candy Co. candies are going to be one of those items that make it into the gift baskets this year.
Recently our family had the opportunity to taste product from Lovely Candy Co. and it is fantastic! First off I have to say that it’s gluten-free, and GMO- FREE (big one with me) and the taste is outstanding. We tried the

My favorite is the original Chewy Caramels. Don’t get me wrong, they are all superb, but I am a major fan of caramel anything. My kids loved the fruit chews the most. It’s similar in size to a brand of fruit chews that we are all familiar with, except this one has no artificial ingredients which in turn makes me feel ok when the kids want one for a treat.
The Lovely Candy Co. was founded in Chicago just this year by entrepreneur Mike Nakamura. It started with his quest to find top-quality, gluten-free, non-GMO candies with no artificial ingredients for his wife Jackie. When he wasn’t able to put his hands on such product, he decided to create his own.
In addition to being gluten and GMO-free, the all-natural candy is soy-free (which is also important to me) and contains no high fructose corn syrup, which we avoid as a family. It also has no artificial flavor, colors or preservatives so there is no worry about Red and yellow dyes which seem to be in so much these days.
Now, I’m sure many of you have in your mind that this is a very expensive product based on what it brings to the table, but it isn’t at all.
