When it comes to home accent rugs, I generally have the attitude of buying a nice one and waiting until it gets ratty to throw it out and get another. Others, on the other hand, prefer to buy rugs for every occasion and change them out regularly. I would like to be this type of person but for some reason changing out my rugs has never really crossed my mind. However, thanks to Madison at Main, my attitude towards home accent rugs has changed. Who would have thought that so many types of rugs could exist within one company?

Monogrammed Kitchen Rug
For this review, I got to pick a Jellybean Rug. I am not kidding when I say the opportunities are endless with these particular rugs. I searched page after page looking at all the fun Jellybean Rugs Madison at Main has to offer. After narrowing it down to three rugs, I ended up with the Monogrammed A for my kitchen.
The Jellybean Rugs retail for $29.95 and can be used both inside and out. They are completely washable and every Jeallybean Rug is made out of 35% recycled post-consumer PET plastic so you can feel confident having several rugs and knowing each one is a little greener than other brands!
My Thoughts:
I absolutely love my rug and really love how well it matches in my kitchen. It provides a cozy accent to a room I wouldn’t normally think of putting a rug. I have it on hardwood floors and it does slide around a lot. I believe this can easily be fixed with a sticky pad or that of the like and I highly recommend it. Jellybean Rugs are completely washable which is nice and pretty much essential with pets and little ones in the house. We no sooner got the rug and three days later my little girl spilled a chocolate milkshake all over it. When I put it to the test with washing I was happy with how well it held up in the washing machine but there is still a large chocolate stain on it. However, I think this could be largely due to the fact that I just threw it in the machine and didn’t pre-treat it with anything.
If you prefer to have options when it comes to your home decor, I highly recommend checking out Madison at Main. They are my new go-to for quick and reasonably priced accent rugs for any and all rooms. They would also make fun, out of the box, practical gifts for any occasion.
