Synopsis:

But off to the playground they go, only to find that no dogs are allowed! Maggi wants to stay behind, but the other kids are having so much fun that she decides to give it a try. Soon enough, Maggi has a whole new group of friends to play with. When it’s time to go, Maggi waves good-bye to her new friends, but she knows she’s going home with milo, her best friend of all.
About the Author – Juli Brenning
Juli Brenning worked briefly in magazine publishing before getting her teaching certificate. She now lives outside of Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, two kids, three dogs and one impressively large cat. She is a writer, a reader, a creator, but mostly she’s a mom.
My Thoughts:
This is such an adorable book. Maggi is a little girl that adores her best friend, Milo. When the day comes that she goes to the park to meet new friends, she is a tad hesitant. Her best friend Milo isn’t allowed inside the park, and she isn’t sure she wants to leave him behind. Once Maggi sees how much fun the other kids are having, she decides to leave Milo behind to go play with the other kids. She had a blast and her new friends even had the chance to meet Milo. All in all, this book is a keeper for our home library. The story line is great and the illustrations were a huge hit with both of my boys.
