Magic Cabin Fun Ride Deluxe Zipline

 

 I don’t know where I have been for the past eleven months, but I feel like I have been placed in a machine that has taken me from January straight to the middle of November.  Anybody else feel like this year has just flown by?  November is an extremely busy month for my family with all the birthday’s, not to mention Thanksgiving.  Christmas will be here in a matter of a couple of weeks and I am pleased to announce that I have a good handle on Christmas shopping this year.  Then again, with all the birthday’s I don’t have much room to wait until the last minute.

I have roughly ten kiddos to shop for ranging in age from newborn-10 years old.  Walking into a single store and finding something unique, practical, and well-made for each child is virtually impossible.  However, thanks to Magic Cabin I can do one stop shopping and get each kid something they really want and will actually use! I have ordered from Magic Cabin in the past and have been very pleased with each of my purchases.  As you can imagine, I was equally pleased when I got the opportunity to work with Magic Cabin on a review for the Holiday Gift Guide.  For my review, I chose the Fun Ride and was tickled pink when a Fun Ride Deluxe came instead because I made the cut for the weight limit which means I can ride to if I want!  Here is what Magic Cabin has to say about the Fun Ride Deluxe:

There are 3 different models of the Fun Ride.  A standard one which will hold up to 100 pounds, a Deluxe which is 70 feet of cable and holds up to 225 pounds and the Super Z which is 90 feet of cable and can hold up to 250 pounds.  Once you have two good sturdy trees the Fun Ride is very easy to put together in a short amount of time.  It should definitely be a two person job but if need be can be assembled by a single person. We put ours at a slight decline which really picks up speed.  It is important that all potentially hazardous items are out of the way where the Fun Ride is assembled.  I say this because in the area we placed the Fun Ride we had a lot of branches and leaves so we had some work to do prior to hooking it up.

Jaydon and his friends had a blast on the Fun Ride Deluxe last weekend at his birthday party.  His friends thought it was “AWESOME” he had a zip-line in the back yard. They all were leery of it at first but once they zipped down a time or two we had trouble getting them off of it.  I highly recommend using a helmet at all times though.  Maybe it is just the way we have it positioned, but we found they were crashing into the tree and bouncing off of it with their feet, thankfully not their heads! If this item had some sort of braking feature it would be perfect.  In the meantime, going over proper safety techniques is important and highly encouraged. All in all, I am very happy with just how well the Fun Ride Deluxe holds up.  It is definitely going to be a fixture in our back yard for years to come.
