Who doesn’t love Toy Story? It has been a favorite in our house since my seventeen-year-old was a little girl. I love that it’s one of those things that just keeps going because now I not only have the opportunity to enjoy it with my boys but am still able to find products that go along with it.
Toy Story Zing’ems Rocket Rumble Playset
Recently we had the opportunity to review the new Mattel Toy Story Zing Ems Rocket Rumble Playset and my boys loved it! The actual recommended age for this particular product is 3+, but my two-year-old has as much fun playing with it as my five years old does! I admit that I enjoy shooting the little Buzz Lightyear around the track as well.

As I mentioned earlier, the game is very easy to play. All you do is pull back on the lever to launch Buzz, Zurg or whichever additional Zing’ems you may have. Once you let go, they blast through the rocket, crash through the Zurgbots and jump through the asteroid field! The Mattel Toy Story Zing’ems Rocket Rumble Playset includes a Buzz character, but you can purchase additional Zing’ems figures separately. Each pack includes two Zing’ems.
The Zing’ems 2″ figures features a bobble shape and a rolling bottom which both my boys love. They have a car table with a cover (you can see him playing on in the above picture). They get on opposite sides of the table and push them as hard as they can so they will crash. When they do crash, no worries! They just spin around and pop back up for additional fun. These come in packs of two as I mentioned above and have a SRP of $6.99 a pack. The Zing’ems Playset comes with one Zing’em and has a SRP of $14.99. With Easter just around the corner, these would be awesome additions to an Easter Basket.
