My boys love building with Mega Bloks and recently they had the opportunity to check out the new Mega Bloks Skylanders SWAP Force Wash Bucklers and Magna Charge and they LOVED them.  I won’t lie, I enjoyed them too.  They are super cool and I love how they can move.

As always when it comes to Mega Bloks the directions are super easy to follow which is something that that I love.  Why do I love easy to follow directions?  Because before I had boys I had no idea how to build anything and even though my boys love building, I somehow get stuck bringing it all together while they supervise.  Their time comes when I get the build completed!! I don’t mind doing that for them and I have noticed that the more I build and they watch, the more they are willing to jump in and help.  They are really starting to figure this out.  Not only are Mega Bloks awesome for the imagination but they really help introduce reading directions as well.

 All in all these are a pretty awesome set.  My six year old still has together and decided he wanted to put it up on a high shelf away from his little brother.  My three year old thought it was an awesome idea to break his Skylanders SWAP Force heroe apart as soon as i finished putting it together.  I knew it would happen which was why I tucked the directions away nice and safe.  I also really like how well these stay together.  Sure, my three year old took his apart (quickly) but it took some doing for him to break it down. The Mega Bloks Skylanders Washbuckler and Magna Charge Buildable Figures are fantastic and would make an awesome addition to your little Mega Bloks fan’s Easter Basket!!
