At the mere age of 2 1/2 years old, Caroline is my little fashionista. She is generally pretty laid back about the outfits I choose for her to wear but when it comes to shoes, watch out. She is always trying on her mass amounts of shoes, my shoes and even her father and brother’s shoes. I honestly don’t know where her love for shoes came from as I am a take them or leave them type of person. I do however love my flip flops and can never have too many pairs.
We recently got the opportunity to try out a pair of MICHAEL Michael Kors Jove Sandals and immediately feel in love with them the moment they arrived. Caroline kept saying “oh so pretty mommy” and wanted to show them to everyone. My initial thought was they are very versatile and could go with almost any outfit. It truly drives me crazy when you have that one pair of shoes or that one outfit that you can’t match up.
The MICHAEL Michael Kors Jove Sandals come in two different colors, silver and gold. They have a PVC upper with either a gold or silver medallion depending on which color sandal you decide. The outsole is rubber and the insole is a cork-print rubber. Like other MICHAEL Michael Kors products, these sandals are very durable and made from high-quality products. They are not cheap and flimsy which is great for the toddler who prefers to get rough and dirty just as quick as she likes to get dressed up.
The one thing we have struggled with when it comes to Caroline’s shoes is sizing. Each brand and style seems to fit different from the next which means she varies anywhere from a 6.5-8. The sandals we received were an 8 and they seemed to be alright. I did notice that the straps where more fitted so I would say that these would work best for little ones with more of a narrow foot. The MICHAEL Michael Kors Jove Sandals retail for around $45. The versatility and pure cuteness of these sandals make the price less steep in my opinion. If you are looking for a classy yet durable summer shoe for your little lady, I highly recommend these sandals!
