Potty training…It’s one of those things that parents look forward to and almost dread at the same time. My oldest son potty trained before he ever reached the age of two. He was super easy and basically did it himself…then came son #2. He is strong-willed and prefers to do things on his own time, which is what he has done.
It’s impossible to stay home 7 days a week during that potty training stage and I didn’t want to put a diaper on when we went out. I felt that would really confuse and discourage him. However, I didn’t want to head out with just his regular little undies on either. That’s when Pampers Easy ups come into play. He still feels like a big boy with them since they pull up and down, but I have the peace of mind that we aren’t going to have any major accidents.
Timing plays a huge part when it comes to potty training, but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared with all the right tools. Going potty is a form of independence for little ones in a way, but they are still tiny and let’s face it…getting on the potty is hard. That’s where the Little Looster. This thing is pretty awesome. It’s the perfect height for helping them get up on the potty..it’s light weight and sturdy. My little dude loves it! Not only is Little Looster a big help, but with the Fisher Price Potty Ring lets them use the big potty and in my opinion it makes it so much easier. No little potty to dump, clean and scrub. This one also takes up little space because it’s designed to hang on the side of the toilet.
So we have the
✔ Pampers Easy Ups
✔ Little Looster
✔ Fisher Price Potty Ring
But wait…that’s not all you need!! We recently read this super fun book titled, “It’s You and Me against the Pee…and Poop too!” I read this to my little guy and he was laughing so hard. When we finished reading it, he looks at me and says… “Pee is tricky…Poo is hard”. It’s a great book and one I can see us reading a lot!!
