My Thoughts:
The minute this book arrived, my six year old insisted that we read it. So what did he think? He LOVED it! This is a book that’s written in a way that both little boys and little girls will enjoy and relate to. The story line and illustration are simply adorable. Poppy is a brave little girl and isn’t afraid of anything, but a lot of times her friends don’t understand. When Poppy asks her friend Finn how to get on the room, he simply replies “we don’t.” This isn’t the answer that Poppy was looking for. When she wants to go hiking in the dark, her parents point out that it’s late, but Poppy doesn’t care. Will her sister Petunia ever figure out if Poppy is scared of anything? You’ll have to read the book to find out.
