My four year old loves pretending he is a super hero and is always dressing to play the part. As we all know every great super hero must have a cape!
Recently we were introduced to PowerCapes and I must say that I was very impressed. I love that one is able to customize the cape and also have the option for wrists bands and masks. I let my four year old completely design his cape to how he wanted it. He picked out the colors and designs himself. It was so simple to do.
PowerCapes are made in the USA and was started by Holly Bartman as a way to provide children (and adults too)with personalized super hero capes.
His cape is very well made and fits him perfectly! He zooms around the house in it all the time and has suggested that we make one for me as well, which is completely doable! While he was picking out his cape design he not only picked out wrist bands and a masks he would like to have, but he also picked out and designed a cape for me. Since we now know how AWESOME these capes are, I am going to surprise him one day with the arm bands and mask since I know exactly what he is wanting.
If you wanted to save time they do have some capes that are pre-made, but I have to admit that I loved that my little guy was able to customize his to what he was wanting. I’m sure it won’t be long until I am getting a second cape for little brother!
