My little dude is a huge fan of the Tropical Strawberry Shakeology. I have never been able to find the love for that particular flavor, but it’s basically the only one he will drink and loves starting his day out with it. I usually do unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 cup of blueberries and a scoop of Shakeology. I feel good about giving him this. It’s a best shake out there in my personal opinion and gives his little body the nutrients it needs.
This morning, we thought we would get a little creative and try something new. The weather is warming up so why not have “ice cream” for breakfast. We used Shakeology but you can certainly use a protein powder if that’s what you currently have on hand. The picture isn’t the best, but my blender decided to fight with me this morning. Some days we just don’t get along and today was one of those days.


- 1 large frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 6 TBLS almond milk (sweetened or unsweetened)
- 1 scoop Tropical or Choc.Vegan Shakeology (this can also be used with regular Shakeology as well)
- Just toss it all in the blender and blend until it reaching the consistency of ice cream. Easy Peasy!
- You can use protein powder in place of the Shakeology and be as creative as you like. I sometimes do a banana, chocolate protein powder and unsweetened almond milk.
