The holiday are upon us, and it’s time to get serious when it comes to shopping. For me, I always prefer to wait until after Thanksgiving to start my gift shopping. This may sound crazy to some, but I really feel that I find better deals. While some may agree with me, others may wonder how on earth I keep my sanity while doing last minute gift shopping.

1. Make Out A List. I set down early and make a list out of everyone that I need to purchase gifts for. Once I’ve completed my list, I then set a budget.

Without having a budget, I find that it’s way to easy to overspend…especially this time of year. What works for me, is sitting down with the list I made in step 1 and breaking down the budget. Figuring how much I’m going to spend on each person.
3. Online Shopping: Seriously, this has not only helped me keep my sanity, but has also been a major money-saver. With tons of online shopping options, I always find exactly what I’m looking for.
