This may sound silly but it was not until I met my husband that I learned the art of pillow flipping. You know, turning your pillow over periodically to get the cold side? We recently had a wonderful opportunity to try a set of SHEEX Standard Pillowcases. When the package first arrived, my husband was a little leery being that they were a light pink and he is such a manly man. I told him to stop his fussing and at least give them a try, if he didn’t like them come morning I would take his pillowcase off and replace it with a normal cotton pillowcase. Well….two weeks later both pillowcases are still being used! These things are absolutely AMAZING. There is no more sweaty heads at night and no need to flip the pillow to the cold side. Each pillowcase is made out of roughly 82-87% microfiber polyester and 13-18% spandex (the difference is in the various color options). Given the material, you can imagine how thin and stretching these are. Just like a nice pair of athletic pants. I wash my bedding weekly so these were no exception. Each time I have washed them in cold water and tumbled dry low and they held up beautifully.
A set of two standard pillowcases retails for $49. I will admit that they are a bit pricy but after using them the past couple of weeks, you can’t put a price on good quality sleep.
