Sister Eve And The Blue Nun is the the third installment in Lynne Hinton’s new mystery series. While this is the third book, it can easily be a stand alone. I had not previously read the first two books in the series, and had no trouble at all jumping in on this book.
This is a story about Sister Eve, a crime-solving nun that heads back to the monastery for an upcoming conference. While there, the sister of a dear friend of her’s has been murdered. Sister Eve, being the detective and friend that she is, goes in to check it out. She is worried that her friend will be found guilty. What struck me as strange though, is that when she goes into the victims room, she disturbs the crime scene (leaving finger prints, breaking a glass, etc), but was never considered a suspect in the murder.
Synposis:

Overall, I would give this book a 3.5 simply because I personally prefer to have more suspense in a mystery story, and I also had a hard time connecting with the characters.
